Designer and Tutor – Teaching in From Idea to Product in Fashion Business
My carrier after graduating from Aalto University 1983 begun working as a designer in Finnish fashion companies such as: Suomen Trikoo Oy and Virke Oy. In those days both were big companies having a large scale marketing network in Europe and I had opportunity to attend in various marketing events. After that I worked in smaller companies designing as a freelancer in area of knitwear and image -and workwear.
As a lecturer I´ve been working since 1991. My specialty is general design process including customer research, trend research, concept design, creativity, product development, fashion design and fashion show. During my career as a lecturer I have had opportunities to work in several international projects, for example developing fair training package for international fairs.
