After almost ten years, the library blog comes to an end with this post. From now on, you can find library news on the HAMK library website.
Library blog served its readers for almost ten years
At first, the blog shared news about the library’s daily activities and offered practical tips. Over the years, it became one of the library’s key communication channels. For example, the blog introduced information sources from different fields. Blog posts were also featured on the HAMK Finna homepage.
HAMK communication channels have changed over the years. Closing the blog is part of this broader change, which the library also supports.
A total of 141 posts were published on the blog
Since November 2018, the library has published 141 blog posts in English. Of these, 55 offered reading recommendations and 35 talked about our e-resources and their use.
Read in HAMK posts show what people at HAMK read between 2020 and 2025. Together, they offer an interesting view of how teaching and learning topics changed during these years.
Many current and former HAMK library staff members have contributed to the blog over the years. A warm thank you to all our writers and especially to you, our readers. Thank you for being part of the library’s daily life!
Library news continue on the website
The blog will remain available for the time being, so you can still read the old posts. From now on, you can find the latest library news on the library website.
