HAMK library customer service is on break from Thursday June 19 to Wednesday August 13. You can send us email hamk.kirjasto@hamk.fi during summer, but answers may be delayed due to summer holidays. Reserved books and inter-library loans are not transported during the break. Materials will be transported between campuses for the last time June 2\u20136. Thesis archiving and publishing is on break from June 25 to August 1.
\nAll libraries are on self-service for HAMK students and staff with HAMK key card.
\nCustomer service opens in H\u00e4meenlinna university centre library and by phone on Thursday August 14 at noon. We will inform you about all campus library service hours in August.<\/p>\n

\nReserve books and renew your loans for the summer in HAMK Finna<\/h2>\n

Reserved books and inter-library loans will be transported between campuses for the last time June 2\u20136 according to the normal schedule.
\nPlease send us your acquisition requests by the end of May, if you want the books for summer. E-material requests can be requested until the end of June.
\nWhen you renew your loans after May 22, the due date will be August 28. Log in to HAMK Finna<\/a> with HAMK ID or library card number and PIN-code to see and renew your loans. You cannot renew your loans if there are reservations for them, you have over 10 \u20ac of fines or the book has been marked lost for being late. You will not get library fines for late books during the library\u2019s summer break.
\nLong summer loans do not apply to e-materials.<\/p>\n

Customer service before summer break<\/h2>\n

Before June 19, customer service is available in H\u00e4meenlinna university centre, by phone +358 3 646 4700 and by email Mon-Thu from 9 am to 3 pm and Fri from 10 am to 3 pm. Check possible exceptions on HAMK Finna.
\nCustomer service is available for the last time in the campus libraries of Evo, Forssa, Lepaa, Riihim\u00e4ki and Valkeakoski June 2\u20136 according to normal schedule. Mustiala campus library\u2019s last customer service day is May 27. Reserved books will be transported on June 3.<\/p>\n

Thesis archiving and publishing<\/h2>\n

Thesis archiving and publishing is on summer break from June 25 to August 1. Theses submitted during the break will be published and archived in August. You can send us an email to opinnaytetyo.arkisto@hamk.fi if needed. Emails sent during the summer break will be answered in August.<\/p>\n

Help in information search<\/h2>\n

You can get personal assistance for information searching issues<\/a> during summer too. However, there will be less appointments available than normally. The guidance is automatically held online in Teams. You can see available times up to three weeks in advance. If you have to cancel your appointment, please do so by sending us an email to kirjasto.opetus@hamk.fi.<\/p>\n

\nHow to return loans when you have a HAMK key card<\/h2>\n

If you have a HAMK key card, you can return your loans with the self-check machine in the nearest campus library. You can find campus library addresses here. Inter-library loans can be returned like regular loans.
\nThere are also return boxes next to campus library doors. If you return your loans there, they will stay in your loan information until the library staff visits that campus in August.<\/p>\n

\nHow to return loans when you don\u2019t have a HAMK key card<\/h2>\n

The library\u2019s outdoor return box is in H\u00e4meenlinna University Centre: building D, in Visakaarre street, next to the main entrance. Please do not leave books outside the box if it\u2019s full. Unfortunately, other campuses do not have outdoor book return boxes.
