HAMK DF Bootcamp is a week-long event presenting Design Factory culture and activities. During the week participants have an opportunity to learn from others and plan their own DF environment. Participants will get familiar with DF history, infrastructure, ways of working, and pedagogical philosophy while starting to develop their own strategy and implementation. Working happens together co-creating with other bootcampers and staff members.<\/p>\n
The Bootcamp is great place for those who have a dream and are interested in development but needs inspiration and insights from others.\u00a0 During the week guests also have a chance to take part in the Design Factory PD3 (Product Development in 3 hours). In PD3, teams have three hours to create a prototype. They have machines, materials, and innovation kits available at Design Factory to use for their solution. PD3 includes coaches from HAMK Design Factory and HAMK. Bootcamp is organized as part of the RUN-EU Super week.<\/p>\n
We hope to be able to inspire and help others to build their own Design Factories. Staff from our HAMK DF participated in Aalto DF Bootcamp back in the days when we were building our own Design Factory. So now we are organizing our very first Bootcamp so we can continue to share the DF culture forward. We also hope to get ideas and perspectives to our own work and get inspired by the participants’ thoughts and ideas. From the video below you can see parts from the DF Aalto Bootcamp 2019.
